STEVEN STUDENT
Multimedia Journalist and Rad Dude.
ABOUT STEVEN STUDENT
Steven Student began working at UW-Milwaukee as a student employee in the spring of 2000. During that time, he taught campus Short Courses on a wide array of topics—ranging from the Microsoft Office Suite to Adobe Photoshop and Flash. Eventually, he earned a BA in Political Science, but for one reason or another continued working in the field of technology. Now, Mr. Student designs and develops multimedia materials that enhance online learning in the College of Letters and Science.
Be it a “how-to” video detailing media console operation to the to tune of Scott Joplin’s “The Entertainer” or a customized tutorial created for an upper-level Spanish Phonetics and Phonology class, Steven has either done it, or will be doing it soon. Ultimately, he seems pretty content having technology like Final Cut Pro, the Adobe Creative suite and Pro Tools at his disposal, but he understands completely if clients are really only interested in receiving an amazing finished product. As a side note, before asking him about music or guitars, be sure to take note of every exit in the room
